Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service Baltimore MD/Washington DC
139 PM EDT Sun Sep 20 2026

Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the region
over the next several days.

A warm front will lift northward through the area today, but will
quickly be followed by a cold front which will move through
tonight. With the aforementioned frontal boundaries nearby, we`ll
have chances for showers and potentially a few thunderstorms today
into tonight. A strong area of high pressure will build to our
north on Monday and remain in place through much of the week,
leading to a prolonged period of onshore flow. Daily shower
chances and below normal temperatures are expected as the marine
airmass moves in from the east.
