Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service Baltimore MD/Washington DC
115 PM EDT Fri Oct 2 2026

Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the region
over the next several days.

High pressure positioned off the coast will provide well above
normal temperatures again today. A cold front will approach from
the northwest this afternoon and push southward tonight bringing
a chance of showers. This front will stall off to the south this
weekend while a wave of low pressure brings more rain to some
areas. A second cold front will sweep through on Monday, followed
by Canadian high pressure and below normal temperatures heading
into the remainder of next week. This increases the potential for
frost and freeze conditions to portions of the region.
