A few lightning strikes are possible near and west to southwest of
Washington DC well ahead of approaching thunderstorms or any rain.
Those outside should head indoors and remain there until these
storms pass.

Remember, if you are close enough to hear thunder, you are close
enough to be struck by lightning.
