A strong upper level impulse will move across the state today
through Friday bringing widespread wetting rain with it. Several
inches of rain are expected statewide with locally heavier amounts
across north central sections. Some strong to possibly severe
thunderstorms can not be discounted over the southwest part of the
state. Much quieter conditions are expected for the holiday
weekend. No fire weather headlines are anticipated.
