.Discussion...
A few isolated showers are expected today across Arkansas but
coverage will be spotty at best. Light and variable winds with
some mid and high level cloudiness will lead to mainly partly
cloudy to sunny skies across the state. Min RH values today will
range from 41% to 51% across parts of western, northwestern, and
southwestern Arkansas. Elsewhere, Min RH values on today will be
between 31% to 42% with light and variable winds. As we head into
Monday(Labor Day), Min RH values will rise over the western one
half of the state ranging from 36% to 53%, with areas from
Mountain Home down to El Dorado and east in the 34% to 42% range.
As a cold front pushes through the state Monday night into
Tuesday, Min RH values will rise and be above 40% through the
remainder of the forecast period. Light winds are expected with
poor vent rates. No significant fire weather conditions are
expected through next weekend.
