The first wetting rain was seen for parts of the state with the
exception of parts of northeast and far southern Arkansas. Chances
for isolated showers and thunderstorms are in the forecast for
today, then small chances for showers and thunderstorms through
the latter part of next week. Light and variable winds will
persist through the period and Min RH values will remain below
critical thresholds through the period. No significant fire
weather concerns are expected through the next seven days.
