This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected through tonight
along a residual boundary. A few thunderstorms could be strong to
severe with strong gusty winds being the primary hazard. Some
locally heavy rain and isolated flash flooding also are possible.



.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Scattered showers and thunderstorms on Sunday with a few that
could be strong to severe over portions of western Arkansas. The
primary hazard will again be strong gusty winds with some locally
heavy rain and localized flash flooding also possible. Chances for
showers and thunderstorms continue on Monday, becoming isolated on
Tuesday. Another chance for showers and thunderstorms on Thursday
with the potential for a few strong to severe thunderstorms. The
hazards at this time appear to be damaging winds and large hail.

Locally heavy rain and localized flooding are also possible on
Thursday.

Hot and humid conditions are expected to return across Arkansas
late next week into the weekend with heat indices over 100 degrees
possible.
