This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Showers and thunderstorms remain possible through tonight with
the best chances this afternoon and evening. The threat for
severe weather also remains low, but a few strong to briefly
severe thunderstorms are possible. The primary hazards with the
strongest thunderstorms will be damaging winds. Any locally
excessive rainfall may result in isolated flash flooding as the
ground remains saturated in many areas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Some strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible across
northwest to northern Arkansas Wednesday afternoon and evening as
a cold front moves through. Gusty winds would be the primary
concern with stronger storms.

Hot and humid conditions are expected across Arkansas late this
week and into the weekend with heat index values climbing to over
100 degrees at most locations.

.Spotter Information Statement...

Spotter activation will not be needed.
