This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

No hazardous weather is forecast through tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Unsettled weather is forecast across the region starting later
Saturday through Sunday Night. A dual threat for hazardous weather
will exist.

First, a few strong to severe thunderstorms are possible Sunday
afternoon, mainly across the southeastern portion of Arkansas.
The main threats will be damaging winds and large hail. A
conditional threat for tornadoes will exist as well, and a few
tornadoes cannot be ruled out.

Secondly, some wintry precipitation, mainly in the form of a
freezing rain/snow mix, will be possible across northern Arkansas
overnight Sunday night through early Monday morning, as much
colder air moves into the area. Far northern regions could see a
light glazing from freezing rain and/or a dusting of snow up to a
few tenths of an inch. The primary concern would be elevated
surfaces and bridges becoming slick and hazardous.

Monday and through the remainder of next week, a much colder
airmass will be firmly entrenched over the Natural State. Highs
will be mainly in the 30s, with nighttime lows in the teens and
20s. North Arkansas will likely see wind chill values drop into
the single digits during the late night and early morning hours.

.Spotter Information Statement...

Spotter activation may be needed for portions of southeast
Arkansas Sunday afternoon to evening.
