Subsidence will suppress most clouds outside of the higher terrain where moist upslope flow will lead to an isolated storm or two, especially this afternoon. By Friday, most CAMS keep the region dry. Luckily, it won`t be as hot as the last couple of days, but temperatures will remain above normal. Highs will reach the upper 90s each afternoon with 100s along the Rio Grande. && .LONG TERM... Rain chances move up for areas west of the Pecos River Valley each day of the long term. Showers and storms will be isolated to scattered in nature each day.
