...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH
THURSDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall will be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of southwest and western Texas, including the
  following counties, in southwest Texas, Pecos. In western Texas,
  Upton.

* WHEN...From 1 PM CDT this afternoon through early Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected to
    develop over portions of Upton and eastern Pecos counties this
    afternoon through tonight. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches with
    very localized totals over 3 inches will be possible with the
    heaviest showers and storms which could lead to flash flooding.
