  affecting Terrell County.

For the Pecos River...including Independence Creek near Sheffield,
Texas...Minor flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.

* WHERE...Independence Creek at Independence Creek near Sheffield,
  Texas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 3:10 PM CDT Monday the stage was 10.6 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 8.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
    this afternoon to a crest of 11.4 feet this evening. It will then
    fall below flood stage this evening.
  - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 11.9
    feet on 10/25/2023.
