National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX

.DISCUSSION...
Light 20-ft winds below 20 miles per hour, min RH above critical
15%, and good overnight recovery despite continued unseasonably
warm temperatures and dry weather result in low fire weather
conditions today, and a chance of wetting rains and cooler
temperatures Wednesday with min RH staying above critical 15%
maintain low fire weather conditions tomorrow. Drier air in the
wake of the upper storm system Thursday and Friday, strong
westerly 20-ft winds 35 to 45 miles per hour higher elevations and
dry fuels in contrast with min RH staying above critical 15%
preclude more than RFD conditions. Gusty westerly winds over
higher elevations and surrounding foothills of Guadalupes and
Delawares into Davis Mountains early next week along with a lower
probability of wetting rains than this week may result in elevated
fire weather conditions for those regions.
