Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
216 PM CDT Sat Sep 6 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Min RH above critical 15%, good to excellent overnight recovery,
light 20-ft winds, and fuel ERCs remaining below 75th percentile
and largely below 50th percentile will continue to maintain low
fire weather conditions. Drier and warmer weather expected after
Monday into the end of the week, but fuels will take some time to
dry out given recent rains, and so we are not expecting heightened
fire weather concerns in the near future.

Service Office.
