Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
1242 AM CST Sun Nov 30 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Fire weather concerns remain minimal. A strong front has pushed
through bringing well below normal temperatures and a hard freeze
for many locations the next few mornings. We warm by midweek with
another front late in the week. The forecast remains dry until
late week when a low chance (10-30%) of rain enters the picture.
ERCs remain below the 50th percentile, min RHs remain above
critical thresholds, and RH recovery overnight will be good to
excellent through the period.

For point-specific forecasts please see the Point Fire Weather
Matrix product issued by the Midland/Odessa National Weather
Service Office.
