Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
251 AM CDT Mon Jun 2 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Fire weather concerns remain low through the period. MinRH values
are expected to remain above critical thresholds, accompanied by
generally light 20ft winds and improving ERCs (below the 50th
percentile for most). Almost daily, low to medium (20-50%) rain
chances begin today and last through much of the work week. Best
odds for rainfall look to lie primarily over the higher terrain
and along the Pecos River.

Service Office.
