Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
239 AM CDT Tue Jun 25 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Fire weather concerns will remain low for the foreseeable future
as increased moisture keeps minimum relative humidities out of
critical territory most areas. Other than a few gusty period
during the evenings winds will remain fairly light. The best
chances of rain will remain over the higher terrain west of the
Pecos each afternoon and evening, where it is needed most. Gusty
and erratic winds can be expected with any thunderstorms that
develop and lightning starts remain possible. Recovery overnight
will be moderate to excellent.
