Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
153 AM CDT Tue Sep 2 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Fire weather concerns remain low through the period. ERCs remain at
or below the 50th percentile, Min RHs stay above critical thresholds
(despite a drying trend), and winds remain light. These factors,
coupled with good to excellent recoveries, will limit fire weather
through the period.

Matrix product issued by the Midland/Odessa National Weather
Service Office.
