Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
327 AM CDT Sat Aug 30 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Fire weather concerns remain low through the period. Rain chances
are high (50-80%) across the area this weekend and highs begin to
trend cooler. These factors, combined with increasing RHs across the
region, light winds, and ERCs at or below the 50th percentile, will
limit fire weather.

Matrix product issued by the Midland/Odessa National Weather
Service Office.
