Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
146 AM CDT Mon Jul 14 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Recent wetting rains and continued excellent recoveries help to
keep ERCs below the 50th percentile and fuel moisture above
normal. Best rain chances will continue to be over the Davis
Mountains through the next several days. 20ft winds will remain
light and southerly to southeasterly.
