Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
132 AM CDT Wed Jul 16 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Fire weather concerns are low through the period as ERCs remain
below the 50th percentile, Min RHs remain above critical thresholds,
winds stay light, and overnight recoveries continue to be excellent.
The best rain chances will be over the Davis Mountains, but
generally decrease this week and through the weekend.
