Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
154 PM CDT Fri Jun 13 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Fire weather concerns remain low through the next several days as
wetting rains have brought ERCs back below the 50th percentile
across much of the region. While temperatures move back above
normal and critical min RHs return to areas west of the Pecos
River Valley, recoveries stay fair with winds remaining on the
the lighter side. Drier conditions next week will cure fuels and
elevate the fire weather threat some.
