Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
119 PM CST Fri Nov 21 2025

.DISCUSSION...

The forecast remains unchanged. Overall, fire weather concerns are
low. The chance for wetting rains return this weekend, mainly for
areas east of Midland/Odessa. However, chances become much lower
west of the Pecos River Valley. Min RHs stay above 15% and
recoveries will be fair to excellent across much of the region. ERCs
are around or below the 50th percentile. Fronts will be seen during
the early and middle part of next week and shift winds out of the
north.

Matrix product issued by the Midland/Odessa National Weather
