Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
141 AM CDT Wed Jun 3 2026

.DISCUSSION...

Fire weather conditions are low for the next seven days.
Scattered rainfall is expected through the end of the week adding
to soil and fuel moisture already present. The greatest fire
threat will be from lightning starts, but due low critical fire
conditions any fires that form should have low activity and be
easily contained.

Matrix product issued by the Midland/Odessa National Weather
Service Office.
