Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
240 AM CDT Sat Nov 1 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Dry weather conditions will persist across the region through
next week. A cold front will bring increased northerly winds,
slightly cooler temperatures, and slightly higher min RH values
today before above normal temperatures return Sunday through
next week. Min RHs fall below critical thresholds across many
locations west of the Pecos River next week though 20 ft winds
will remain relatively light. ERCs stay at or slightly above the
50th percentile for most, with some areas in the Big Bend region
and Lower Trans Pecos reaching near the 75th percentile.
