...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL JEFF DAVIS COUNTY
THROUGH 330 PM CDT...

At 256 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
McDonald Observatory, or 8 miles northwest of Fort Davis. This
thunderstorm was nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Fort Davis, Bloys Camp, McDonald Observatory, Davis Mountains State
Park, Black Mountain, Indian Lodge, and Fort Davis National
Historical Site.
