...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN MITCHELL...SCURRY...
BORDEN...NORTHERN MARTIN...HOWARD AND EASTERN DAWSON COUNTIES THROUGH
1215 AM CDT...

At 1137 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Justiceburg to 8 miles
east of Gail to 7 miles north of Luther to 10 miles southeast of
Ackerly to 6 miles northwest of Stanton. Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Big Spring, Snyder, Ackerly, Gail, Coahoma, Forsan, Sand Springs,
Lenorah, Luther, Fluvanna, J B Thomas Reservoir, Lamesa Municipal
Airport, Los Ybanez, Cuthbert, Hancock, Big Spring McMahon-Wrinkle
Airpark, Knott, Vealmoor, Elbow, and Sparenberg.

This includes Interstate 20 between mile markers 168 and 205.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
