...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN EDDY COUNTY THROUGH
330 PM MDT...

At 244 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms 14
miles northeast of Lincoln National Forest, or 23 miles south of
Hope, moving southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Carlsbad Caverns National Park and Lincoln National Forest.
