CDT/515 PM MDT/ FOR SOUTH CENTRAL EDDY AND NORTHERN CULBERSON
COUNTIES...
At 601 PM CDT/501 PM MDT/, severe thunderstorms were located along a
line extending from 6 miles east of Whites City to 24 miles southeast
of McKittrick Canyon to 30 miles north of Kent, moving northeast at
20 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Malaga, Whites City, and Carlsbad Caverns National Park.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
