...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM CDT EARLY THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of East Arkansas, including the following
  counties, Clay and Greene and Southeast Missouri, including the
  following county, Dunklin.

* WHEN...Until 300 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1256 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
    have fallen in the past hour.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Kennett, Malden, Piggott, Corning, Campbell, Rector, Senath,
    Marmaduke, Chalk Bluff Natural Area, Clarkton, Oak Grove
    Heights, Holcomb, Lafe, Knobel, St. Francis, Pollard,
    Greenway, McDougal, Success and Peach Orchard.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
