...Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity and
increased in duration for the following rivers in Mississippi...

  Coldwater River at Marks

For the Coldwater River...including Sarah, Marks...Moderate flooding
is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast. This approaches the flood of record.

* WHERE...Coldwater River at Marks.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 41.0 feet, Widespread flooding of residential areas
  and farmland is occurring in northern Quitman county. Numerous
  secondary roads are flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 AM CST Saturday the stage was 39.6 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 8:00 AM CST Saturday was 39.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 41.0
    feet early Tuesday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 39.0 feet.
