...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT GREENE AND CENTRAL CLAY COUNTIES
THROUGH 1245 AM CDT...

At 1215 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Beech Grove, or 8 miles north of Crowleys Ridge State Park, moving
northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Paragould, Corning, Rector, Marmaduke, Oak Grove Heights, Lafe,
Knobel, McDougal, Peach Orchard, Delaplaine, Evening Star, Beech
Grove, Crockett, Stonewall, Heubner, Tipperary, Fritz, Bard,
Hickoria, and Case.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
