...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN COAHOMA...
NORTHWESTERN TALLAHATCHIE AND SOUTHWESTERN QUITMAN COUNTIES THROUGH
1100 PM CDT...

At 1025 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Alligator, or 7 miles southwest of Clarksdale, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Clarksdale, Tutwiler, Webb, Sumner, Dublin, Vance, Sherard, Mattson,
Counts, Hopson, Bobo, Green Grove, Denton, Stover, Longstreet,
Beverly, Lurand, Brazil, Beaver Dam, and Albin.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
