Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest
1/3 of the waves...along with the occasional height of the average
highest 10 percent of the waves.

.Synopsis for Jupiter Inlet to Ocean Reef FL out to 60 nm and for
East Cape Sable to Bonita Beach FL out to 60 nm...

Hazardous marine conditions are expected to persist through the
middle of the week as strong northeasterly winds continue across the
local waters. Frequent gusts to Gale force are expected to develop
tonight and persist through Tuesday over the Atlantic waters. Seas
are forecast at 5 to 8 feet in the Gulf through Tuesday and 10 to
14 feet across the Atlantic waters. Scattered to numerous showers
and storms are expected across the waters each day as well. Locally
stronger winds and higher seas will be possible in and near heavier
showers and thunderstorms. Marine conditions are expected to
gradually improve during the second half of the week.

Gulf Stream Hazards: Winds 25-35 knots with gusts to 40 knots and
seas 10-14 feet.
