774 WGUS82 KMFL 161351 FLSMFL Flood Advisory National Weather Service Miami FL 951 AM EDT Wed Jul 16 2025 FLC086-161445- /O.NEW.KMFL.FA.Y.0061.250716T1351Z-250716T1445Z/ /00000.N.ER.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.OO/ Miami-Dade FL- 951 AM EDT Wed Jul 16 2025 ...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1045 AM EDT THIS MORNING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Florida, including the following county, Miami-Dade. * WHEN...Until 1045 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 950 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen over the eastern areas of the Flood Advisory from earlier thundrestorms. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area with these thunderstorms. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. If the rainfall amounts increase more then forecast, then a Flash Flood Warning may be needed for this area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Miami, Coral Gables, South Miami, Kendall, Doral, Sweetwater, West Miami, University Park, Fountainbleau, Westchester, Tamiami, Olympia Heights, Sunset, Coral Terrace, Kendale Lakes, Glenvar Heights, Miami International Airport, University Of Miami, The Crossings and Tamiami Fairgrounds. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
