...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Florida, including the following
  county, Palm Beach.

* WHEN...Until 730 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 629 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain
    have fallen during the last hour from these thunderstorms.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
    over the area with the thunderstorms. This additional rain
    will result in minor flooding. If the rainfall amounts
    increase more than forecast, then a Flash Flood Warning may
    be needed for this area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    West Palm Beach, Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens, Tequesta, North
    County Airport, The Acreage, Jupiter Farms, Caloosa, Philo
    Farms, Limestone Creek and Fau North Campus.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
