...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Florida, including the following
  counties, Broward and Miami-Dade.

* WHEN...Until 630 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 549 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated moderate rains are
    still occurring over the advisory area. Between 2 and 4
    inches of rain have fallen from the earlier thunderstorms and
    rains. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly
    in the advisory area.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
    the area with the moderate rains. This additional rain will
    result in minor flooding. Therefore, the Flood Advisory
    remains in effect until 630 PM EDT.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Hialeah, Pembroke Pines, Miramar, Miami Lakes, Hialeah
    Gardens, Medley, Pennsuco, Palm Springs North, Intersection
    Krome And U.S. 27 and Country Club.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
