.Discussion...
Light southwesterly winds will prevail today across most of the
region before shifting southeasterly into mid-week. Afternoon sea
breezes will turn winds onshore along the coasts each day. Scattered
to numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected each day, with
the highest coverage favoring the East Coast this afternoon before
shifting toward the interior and Southwest Florida into mid-week.
Gusty and erratic winds will be possible in and around the stronger
thunderstorms. Maximum dispersion values each afternoon will remain
poor to fair across most of South Florida, while minimum RH values
will stay well above critical thresholds.
Widespread fog development is not anticipated.
