Mostly sunny skies are expected this morning. It should remain dry through the morning, although a few showers could pass close to or just south of the site. Rain chances increase this afternoon, with scattered to locally numerous showers and thunderstorms developing across interior SW Florida. Occasional cloud to ground lightning is expected in the general area, along with torrential downpours and gusty winds underneath the stronger storm cores. Time frame of the highest rain chances is 3-8 PM. Wind will be southeast 5-8 mph, becoming more southerly after 4 PM and erratic and gusty near showers and thunderstorms. Poor dispersion early this morning will improve to generally good late this morning.
