This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Atlantic coastal waters, southeast Florida, southern Florida, southwest Florida and Gulf of Mexico. .DAY ONE...Today and tonight. Thunderstorms: Scattered thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening. The strongest thunderstorms could contain heavy downpours, lightning strikes, and gusty winds. Rip Currents: There is a moderate risk for rip currents along the Palm Beaches. Coastal Flooding: Minor coastal flooding associated with enhanced astronomical tides (king tides) will continue to be possible during high tide. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday. Scattered thunderstorms will be possible daily, with primary threats of gusty winds, frequent lightning, and heavy downpours. Minor coastal flooding will be possible during high tide cycles into early next week with king tides. A moderate risk of rip currents will continue across the Palm Beaches on Monday, with the risk likely increasing across all Atlantic Coast beaches through the week as easterly flow increases. Keeping an eye on the tropics for the latter half of the week as the National Hurricane Center monitors a potential disturbance in the Central/Western Caribbean Sea. There is still high uncertainty on what, if any, impacts there may be to South Florida. This will continue to be monitored as the week progresses. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
