At 518 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking a strong thunderstorm capable of producing a funnel cloud near Intersection Alligator Alley And Miami Canal, or 19 miles west of Pembroke Pines, moving northwest at 10 mph. HAZARD...Funnel clouds and wind gusts of 45 to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Funnel clouds occasionally touch down and produce tornadoes or waterspouts.
