occasional marine intrusions along the coast. Afternoon humidity
will be low across the interior allowing fuels to continue to dry
out with high temperatures near or slightly above normal. There is
a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and
evening in northern California and east of the Cascades. A deeper
trough arrives late in the week into next weekend with showers,
isolated thunderstorms, improved recoveries, and breezy, cooler
weather.
