Fire Weather Forecast for southern Oregon and northern California
National Weather Service Medford, OR
334 AM PDT Mon Oct 6 2025

...Gusty east winds with moderate to poor relative humidity
recovery on upper slopes/ridges early this morning and Tonight...

.DISCUSSION...Warm and dry weather is expected into Wednesday,
though with chilly mornings in valleys. Breezy east winds on upper
slopes/ridges will be strongest early this morning. But, they
will be gusty again tonight and be accompanied by poorer humidity
recoveries. Winds will again trend weaker Tuesday night, though
ridges will still have moderate recoveries. A change in the
pattern will begin with a moist coastal marine push early
Wednesday. An active pattern Wednesday night through the weekend
will result in cooler temperatures, rain chances, and periods of
gusty winds.
