.DISCUSSION...Moderate to heavy rain will accompany a front across
NorCal today into tonight, affecting southern and western Siskiyou
County, and especially the Mt. Shasta region. Lighter precipitation
can be expected farther north in Oregon and farther east in NE
California. Gusty south to southeast winds will impact the Shasta
Valley, southern Rogue Valley and the East Side today. Snow levels
will be very high today and will only drop to around 6000-6500
feet tonight. Conditions will likely improve heading into this
weekend, but another front will approach the coast Sunday.
