Fire Weather Forecast for southern Oregon and northern California
National Weather Service Medford, OR
228 PM PDT Mon Oct 6 2025

...Gusty east winds with moderate to poor relative humidity
recovery on upper slopes/ridges tonight...

.DISCUSSION...Warm and dry weather is expected into Wednesday,
though with chilly mornings in valleys. Breezy east winds on upper
slopes/ridges will trend weaker tonight, but will be accompanied
by poorer humidity recoveries. Winds will again trend weaker
Tuesday night, though ridges will still have moderate recoveries.
A change in the pattern will begin with a moist coastal marine
push early Wednesday. An active pattern returns Wednesday night
through the weekend resulting in cooler temperatures, rain
chances, and periods of gusty winds.
