Another system arrives today with higher snow levels of 6000 to 8500 feet, bringing widespread rain with moderate to locally heavy rain along the coast and inland from the Cascades west. A stronger cold front approaches Thursday night and moves inland Friday with gusty winds, high snow levels and widespread precipitation which may be heavy along coastal areas and into southwest Josephine and western/south-central Siskiyou County. Snow levels will lower behind this front with ongoing showers Friday night and Saturday. Light to locally moderate snow is expected for the mountains.
