An upper level disturbance will move south to north across the area late today and tonight. This is expected to bring isolated to scattered thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. The highest chances for storms from the Cascades east and in and around the Shasta Valley but isolated thunderstorms storms are also possible in western Siskiyou county. Lingering isolated light showers or thunderstorms are possible overnight.
