West Yreka-
Discussion for Western Klamath
411 AM PDT Wed Jul 16 2025

Hot, dry weather continues today. While there is a low chance
(5-10%) of thunderstorms over the mountains, most areas will see
nothing, except for cumulus buildups. There is an isolated thunder
risk (around 15% chance) Thursday. Slight cooling can be
expected late this week into the weekend, though likely at the
expense of breezy winds. Further cooling is anticipated into early
next week.

...Near critical southwest to west winds and low relative
humidity Thursday afternoon and evening for Modoc County...

Hot, dry weather continues today. While there is a low chance
(5-10%) of thunderstorms over the mountains each of the next
couple of afternoons/evenings, most areas will see nothing, except
for cumulus buildups. Gusty southwest to west winds could
coincide with near critical RH values in some areas Thursday
afternoon and evening. Slight cooling can be expected late this
week into the weekend, though likely at the expense of breezy
winds. Further cooling is anticipated into early next week.
