Moderate to heavy rain will accompany a front across NorCal today
into tonight, affecting southern and western Siskiyou County, and
especially the Mt. Shasta region. Lighter precipitation can be
expected farther east in NE California. Gusty south to southeast
winds will impact the mountains, then Shasta Valley and Modoc
County. Snow levels will be very high today and will only drop to
around 6000-6500 feet tonight. Conditions will likely improve
heading into this weekend, but another front will approach the
coast Sunday.
