In the afternoon and evening Thursday, some cloud build ups are possible east and south of the area. However, no thunderstorms are expected to move into the Rogue Valley area. Smoke from area wildfires will remain in place through at least Thursday afternoon. Models indicate smoke may decrease Thursday evening as northwest winds increase. Expect haze and a some air quality impacts through at least Thursday afternoon then periods of haze and patchy smoke are likely Thursday evening and Friday.
