The National Weather Service in Medford has issued a Fire Weather Watch, which is in effect from Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday evening. * IMPACTS...Abundant lightning on dry fuels resulting in the potential for numerous new fire starts. * AFFECTED AREA...In California, Fire weather zones 280, 281, 284 and 285. In oregon, Fire weather zones 617, 621, 623, 624 and 625. * THUNDERSTORMS...Scattered thunderstorms with abundant lightning possible.
