Southerly flow briefly returns today as a weak area of low
pressure moves through ENC, dragging yesterday`s boundary Nward on
the E of the low. Another northerly surge, this one slightly
stronger, then peaks Tuesday morning as high pressure quickly
builds in as the low departs to NE and clears the boundary
offshore. Weakening northeasterly flow regime continues as high
pressure center slowly passes N of Carolina waters through
midweek.
